Eurobikes show in Friedrichshafen demonstrated still increasing popularity of E-bikes among all types of customers.  

This world's leading trade fair has partly changed its face and curently is more and more focused on introduction of new types of e-bikes and their possibility of use in the field of urban-mobility and recreation cycling.

The FOR BIKES trade fair is the largest and most prominent cycling trade show in the Central Europe, held annually at PVA EXPO PRAGUE, Prague's most modern exhibition center.

The 2019 FOR BIKES, which hosted 220 exhibitors from 8 countries, was attended by 31,127 visitors. The 2020 edition of the fair will take place on 20-22 March 2020, during the onset of the cycling season, again at PVA EXPO PRAGUE. The showcased products include all types of bikes: - mountain bikes, road bicycles, hybrid bicycles, trekking bikes, city bikes, cyclo-cross bikes, e-bikes, and all kinds of related equipment.      

FOR BIKES - Specialized professional Trade Fair mainly focused on contracting  meetings with Czech and foreign exhibitors, producers and traders. Being the only cycling event in the field of Czech and also Slovak republic, FOR BIKES is a place where manufacturers, distributors, sellers and other professionals meet to network and to establish new business contacts. As it has already become a tradition, during the last weekend of March the halls of Exhibition Centre PVA EXPO PRAGUE were full of crowds of cycling enthusiasts. In 4 halls filled with cycling goods they could see really a lot of news this year, at the stands of three hundred exhibitors coming from eight countries of Europe. . Altogether 143 journalists were registered in the press centre. Even though the trade fair had a hard competitor in the decision making whether to visit the trade fair or “to go biking” in beautiful summer weather, we registered 31,127 visitors.

Every year is increasing the number of registered exhibits for the competition Grand prix of For Bikes trade fair! The level of this popular competion is still growing yearly attract the higher number of profesional jourinalist. 

Presentation of exhibits before the Expert Jury took place directly at the exhibitor´s stands on the first day of the rtrade fair, and after careful studying of the accompayinig documentation the Jury decided to grant the main awards to three exhibits and Honourable Mentions to one other exhibit.

The 10th anniversary of the largest cycling  trade fair in the Czech Republic is held on 29-31 March 2019 in the exhibition venue PVA EXPO PRAGUE in Letnany. Within the anniversary we are preparing a lot of innovations and news that you will be informed about soon. The famous bike brands like Colnago, Giant, Cross or Haibike, Crussis and KTM have already applied or confirmed their participation at the FOR BIKES 2019! The accompanying programme, a necessary part of the fair, will be enriched with the news!

Company ABF, a.s. dissociates itself from the practices of companies International Fair Trade, Expo Guide, MULPOR Company S.A., FAIR Guide, Construct Data, which offer the publication of company data in the internet catalog of trade fairs and exhibitors.

Although the offer for the publication of the data in the catalog is presented as free of charge, after completing and submitting the data, the client will receive an invoice for the payment of almost EUR 1200 per year.

Furthermore, ABF, a.s. declares that it has never granted the mentioned companies permission to use or promote the protected names or logos of trade fairs organized by ABF, a. s. and to address individual exhibitors on behalf of the organizer of the fair.

The new test circuit with ramp will be located to the left of the main entrance to the PVA Exhibition Center in Letnany.

It will be possible to test newest ebikes for the 2018 season by the best-selling brands on the Czech market: Leader Fox, Apache, Crussis, Giant and LIV, Author and Agogs. The partners of this Test track is the largest manufacturer of ebike motors and accessories - Bafang and ExtraEnergy Services.

Deputy organizer ekolo.cz - Jakub Ditrich says: "The popularity of electric bicycles is enormous. Just last year, sales in the Czech Republic increased by 30% and this year we expect an even greater public interest. That's why we have decided to relieve the overloaded internal ebike test track, and we are thankful to fair organizer - ABF's for helpfulness and the possibility of outdoor test parkour."

The test e-track at FOR BIKES offers the possibility to test and compare 35 models of field and trekking – commuting electric bikes in the price range of CZK 25-50,000 with both center and hub engines. If you are interested in buying a particular tested electric bike, it will be possible to choose the right height of the frame and equipment right away on site. Ekolo.cz will then ensure delivery of a completely assembled and tuned ebike straight to the customers home.

The fair discount offered by ekolo.cz will be at least 10% and sometimes even more than the standard model sale price.

As usually, one of the visitors of FOR BIKES 2018  will win a bike. Universe Agency donated a bicycle AUTHOR A-RAY 29. In order to win, please fill in the questionnaire and throw it into the box that will be placed in the stand of AUTHOR.  FOR BIKES 2018 takes place during 6 – 8 April 2018 in PVA EXPO PRAGUE.

The preparations for the 9th Cycling trade fair FOR BIKES 2018 are currently in full swing. Almost 80 % of the exhibition area is occupied. As it has already become a tradition, during the last weekend of March the halls of our Exhibition Centre were full of crowds of cycling enthusiasts. In five halls filled with cycling goods they could see really a lot of news this year, at the stands of three hundred exhibitors coming from six countries of Europe. Altogether 137 journalists were registered in the press centre.

Even though the trade fair had a hard competitor in the decision making whether to visit the trade fair or “to go biking” in beautiful summer weather, we registered 29,201 visitors. We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2018!

The FOR BIKES Cycling Trade Fair has undergone an unbelievable transformation for the eight years of its existence in the opinion of many people, and now it is possible, without any doubt, to perceive it as the largest and most important event of its kind not only in our country, but even in Central Europe. “We are pleased by the view of the halls full of exhibitors and visitors and we are also delighted to see that the exhibitors became fond of the trade fair and try to present their products in the best possible way. It is a wonderful overview of cycling, and I believe that all will feel satisfied at the trade fair,” said Pavel Hájek.

At the same time also the GRAND PRIX awards for the best products of the trade fair were announced. The awarded products can be seen at expositions of individual exhibitors.

Ondřej Cink, one of the most popular contemporary Czech riders racing for the Bahrain-Merida Pro Cycling Team, will visit the MERIDA 3A13 stand at FOR BIKES.

Tthis year, Ondra is experiencing his road debut after leaving mountain bikes.

He will be at the exhibition on Friday, 31 March from 15:00 to 16:00.

The 8th FOR BIKES is quickly approaching, and though the exhibition takes place in two months, the exhibition area designated for the exhibition is getting sold out as the demand for joining the show has increased every year. It is clear even now that in 2017 the exhibition will be bigger than last year, exceeding the 270 exhibitors the show had in 2016.
